When your child should be interested in potty training, how do you get them interested when they're not? My almost 3-year-old has no desire no matter how I try to bribe her. I tried treats, stickers, throwing a party, books, reading, singing, You name it. She tells me she's a baby and hands me a diaper and says "change me." We recently participated in a Pull Ups First flush celebration House party. i was hoping this might encourage her seeing other children her age wanting to use the potty, She could really care less. There were party hats and stickers and new pull-ups, there was streamers, charts, pin-the-flusher on the potty game.... Nothing. No desire at all.
I was potty trained at one year old, what gives? Granted each generations parents are spending less time at home since the economy forces both parents to work, should I just accept things as they are and hope she learns sooner than later?
In the meantime I suppose she will just be proud of her pull-ups?
